Saturn Garden is a creative collaboration between Heather, a songwriter/poet and Nick, a multi-instrumentalist and producer in rural west Wales. Heather scribbles down the heart of a song with just the bare bones of a few chords. Nick helps give it a body, adding guitar and layers of texture. Add in a great drum track by Steve (Heather’s brother) across the ocean in America, and a song takes shape, something new comes into being.
For Heather, this is an experiment and a lifelong dream, putting her words to music and giving them a life off the page. It’s about expressing the truth of what you feel, both the light and the dark, and finding your voice… because it’s never too late.
The final mystery is oneself. When one has weighed the sun in the balance, and measured the steps of the moon, and mapped out the seven heavens star by star, there still remains oneself. Who can calculate the orbit of his own soul?
